What to do for Monday, 29th June 2009
Friday, June 26, 2009 @ 1:46 PM

Dearest 3E2,

The Influenza A (H1N1) affected countries are those considered by World Health Organisation (WHO) to have sustained community transmission or to be in transition towards community transmission, as well as countries that have been reported to have exported cases.
As of 23 Jun, these countries/regions are Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America.

Please read the following instructions carefully and ensure that you understand what needs to be done for this coming Monday, 29th June 2009.

  1. Bring your thermometer.
  2. Bring the TRAVEL DECLARATION FORM. It must be printed from the school website and signed. Please do NOT forget to bring this.
  3. ALL of you MUST report to school from 6.45 - 7.00 AM. DO NOT ENTER THE CLASS UNTIL I AM THERE. Please be PUNCTUAL as there are many things that needs to be completed in the morning. All of you also know that I am the only Form Teacher in charge of the class, therefore, I seek your cooperation in coming to school on time. If you are one of those who thinks that you will not be able to wake up in time, please get the assistance of your family and friends to give you a wake up call.
  4. If you are unwell and your temperature exceeds 37 degrees, please DO NOT come to school on Monday. Please be responsible in monitoring your own health at home this weekend. You are to see a doctor to get an MC.
  5. If you do not have a fever but you have flu symptons such as runny nose, cough, headache or sore throat, please inform your parents. You are NOT to come to school on Monday as it is best you see a doctor to get an MC.
  6. Even if you have not travelled out of Singapore this June holidays, please be responsible in monitoring your own health as there is a high possibility of infection.

I greatly appreciate it if ALL of you can exercise social responsibility. It is at trying times like this that all of us have to do our individual part in ensuring that the school is a safe place for everyone. As I have mentioned above, you NEED to monitor your own health as you know yourself best.

Please also do take this weekend to finish up all your homework/project etc and bring your materials for Monday's lessons. Please do NOT turn to school with no materials as it is your responsibility as a student to ensure that you have your materials with you at all times.

If you have any questions regarding any of the instructions above, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. However, other questions/issues will not be entertained.

I look forward to seeing all of you next week.

Take good care.

Regards,

Ms Wani
